How Walkie-Talkies Work:

Walkie Talkies are mostly used by Police men and private organisations. Walkie Talkies have several more advantages and it has the following properties

• Battery powered
• Act as a Transreceiver
• Push to Talk system
• Not rely on cell phone towers

Walkie Talkies are half duplex so we can send signal at one direction only.They are mostly battery powered devices.They can act as Trans receivers i.e. they can both send and receive signals.

They use PTT system i.e. To speak in walkie Talkie you have to press the button then you have to speak and you have to release the button to hear the received information.

Walkie Talkie speakers are normally much louder so that people at ear shot can hear it.

Since they wont use cell phone towers they can't get affected at time of natural disasters like earth quake or Tsunami so most useful in time for recovery teams and police men.

It is a reliable communication method used widely after the World War 2 and they use electro magnetic radiations.
