How to get flicker-free fluorescent starting of fluorescent tube lights?
by Vinothini
To stop flickering just connect one diode (PIV>600v)(PIV-Peak inverse voltage nothing but up to which the diode can tolerate voltage without breaking ).
In series with starter.. this result in heavy current when you switch on the tube light due to heavy current the filament get heated very fastly, when the starter contacts open again the tube fires immediately, WITHOUT FLICKER..
BE CAREFULL: the effectiveness of this idea entirely depends on quality of the starter that you use.
