It may look like a
circuit board stuck to ceiling but this is actually climbing robot. The GECKO
robot is the work of Michael Henry
This idea helps the astronaut
who used to risk their lives in daring spacewalk to fix things on craft’s
exterior. (Like they did recently on the international space station to repair
cooling system. ) Instead they will command swarms of hull-crawling automatons
to do the job.
Stranger still it is in a
vacuum. Testing its ability to use dry but sticky gecko, like feet to crawl
around an orbiting spacecraft.
what a wonderful technology really it is great idea...
